Hi, I'm Ann Marie Hannon, the originator and developer of "Better Than
Bouncing" mother-baby shared fitness programs, and mother of three Better Than Bouncing
"graduates" myself.
When my first baby, Margaret, was only six weeks old, I was doing exercises to get back to
pre-pregnancy shape, and decided to include my newborn in the exercises with me in a way that
was mutually beneficial and that aided in the mother-baby bonding process.
The result of this initial tryout was the development of over 100 shared-fitness exercises
that are easy to do, safe, and that allow mom and baby to exercise using shared-fitness
well into the toddler years.
Later on, with the birth of my second baby, Patrick and even later with the birth of baby
Kathy, I continued the Better Than Bouncing exercise program with each one. There were
definite rewards, not the least of which occurred when each baby was old enough to begin
talking and was able to tell me how much they liked doing "Better Than Bouncing" most of all
because it was "fun!!"
This program will provide you as a new mom with a positive use of your time at exercising
that is new and responsive in terms of losing weight, gaining strength, and best of all,
finding a new and improved way of bonding with baby.

know what you like, what you want more of, and how you and baby feel about the program in
general. I'm also interested in what new exercises you and baby have developed yourselves and
wish to share with other new moms and their babies.
